MEMORIAL WALL

It was a real blessing meeting such a great man

Yesh

REMEMBERING A COMPATRIOT: Ohenenana Kwame Asamoah Yeboah-Afari, my confidante and brother! This is probably one of the most difficult words I have had to write, and I don't have the words to convey my pain. I am desolate and cannot understand why this journey was so important that you failed to say goodbye. The plans we had were the future we envisaged for Akwamuman. In a world of ordinary men, you were exceptional. My confidante, and compatriot. I promise to channel the pain of your departure towards ensuring that your name is never forgotten in Akwamu. Farewell and sleep soundly until we meet again, Ohenenana!!

Odeneho kwafo Akoto III

My favourite, my best man, you left us without saying goodbye. The kids and myself are so devastated, heartbroken, distraught, and dispirited. Nana, I had the uncommon privilege and honour of being with for over 20 years. You gave my life a rich and enduring meaning-a physical, mental, and spiritual transformation. As you start a new life, your spirit and legacies will forever live with us. Henri, Robert and Naana are the precious gifts from our friendship. I will not disappoint you in giving the best to our kids. (I know you trust me on thatI really appreciate every moments we spent together. I pray for the mercies of God upon your soul, may he grant you peace and let the perpetual light shine on you.

Dear Nana, I’ve been fortunate to meet many remarkable people, but you Nana, you were the greatest. Your humility always stood out. You never sought to showcase yourself as the visionary behind The Royal Senchi concept. Quietly and selflessly, you connected people and solved problems in the background. For you, this was normal. But in this sometimes crazy world, I can assure you, it was not, it was exceptional... Your deep love for your land, your family, your community, the Akwamu people, and your King was the foundation of who you were. During my last visit in October, you introduced me to a group of business people as your ā€œbrother from another mother,ā€ it was a small gesture, but it made me so proud to be called a soul brother. Rest in peace my dear friend, we'll meet again ...

My first impression of 'Adantem' was how unassuming he was given what he had achieved . An impressive, perfect gentleman whose mild -mannered demeanor concealed a sharp business acumen. I will remember his generousity and sense of duty. Ghana has indeed lost an asset. My heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, Odeneho Kwafo Aɛkoto III ,and the people of Akwamu. Nana, rest in perfect peace. Manye Naa Tsotsoo Soyoo I

Nana, you will be missed every day. I fondly remember our journey to South Africa, where we worked to bridge the gap between Akwamu and the BAfo kingdom. Your wisdom, guidance, and unwavering support were instrumental in helping our entire team achieve our goals. Together and separately, we endeavored to enhance the image of Akwamu for the world to see. The journey to make Akwamu the most visited traditional area in Ghana truly began with you. Thank you, Nana. Sleep well, and until we meet again, we say, ā€œDa Yie.ā€ As the African proverb goes, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together." Your legacy will inspire us to continue moving forward together.

Prince Anthony Bart-Appiah

Nana, a lot of people looked up to you. Many dreams have been shattered by your sudden demise. A perfect gentleman, a beacon of hope and a father to many, may your gentle soul rest well.

Bra Kwame, Bra Kwame, where are you, I have been calling and no responds. When I head your passing on I could not hold back tears. You are my brother and a close friend.. As I told you some time ago to bring tour groups to your hotel, I will always do so. Bra Kwame, for ever, you are in my heart. My self and the family love you but your maker love you more that is why he has called you to rest in his blossom. Have a sound sleep in the Lord.

Director, I could not believe you were gone. I remember the last time my family and I met you in Ghana, and you said you were coming to England so we exchanged contacts not knowing that would be my last to speak with you, my family was deflated and perplexed because we were awaiting your call, not your passing. Go in peace and rest well until we meet again.

Remembering my Uncle Nana Kwame Yeboah-Afari, You were one of my favourite Uncles, and you always will be. It still doesn’t feel real that you’re gone. I keep thinking about all the times you welcomed me with open arms whenever I came to Ghana, how you made me feel at home no matter how much time had passed. My brother and friend, Nana Kwame, your spirit was as grand as the vision you carried. From our days at Okuapeman to reconnecting after 45 years, your warmth, wisdom, and boundless hospitality never wavered. You built more than the Royal Senchi—you built bridges of friendship, excellence, and progressive living. Your creativity, quiet strength, and deep love for Ghana’s tourism were unmatched. Now, you rest, but your legacy lives on. Travel well, my brother. You are deeply missed. — George Okantey Mensah
